Creating a Dedicated Space on a Busy Construction Site
In September, we partnered with Bennimans to supply and install an 8-Person Fully-Enclosed Outdoor Pod at one of their construction sites, providing a dedicated space away from the noise and activity of the working environment.
The Brief
The aim was to create a quiet, comfortable and versatile space for a variety of on-site activities, including meetings, site visits, tea and lunch breaks, site inductions and toolbox talks. The pod also provides a dedicated quiet space for anyone needing time away from the busy site environment.
The Solution
Designed to accommodate up to eight people, the fully enclosed Outdoor Pod offers a practical and contemporary alternative to traditional site cabins, providing a dedicated space for work, collaboration and relaxation.
The pod comes equipped with a range of features to support comfort, connectivity and everyday use, including:
- Acoustic foam liners
- Fabric bench seating
- Integrated LED lighting
- Fixed table
- Deck board flooring
- Dual silent-motor air ventilation
- Double 3-pin power socket with USB and USB-C charging
- Double-glazed front and rear enclosure
Together, these features create a functional, self-contained space that can be used throughout the working day for everything from formal meetings to staff breaks.
A Modern Alternative to Traditional Site Cabins
For years, portable cabins have been the go-to solution for additional space on construction and industrial sites. But as workplaces evolve, so do expectations around the environments we provide for employees, visitors and clients.
Our Outdoor Pods offer a more contemporary, attractive and versatile alternative, creating valuable additional space without the appearance of a traditional site cabin.
For Bennimans, the installation provides a dedicated environment that supports a range of day-to-day site activities, while offering a more comfortable and considered space for the people who use it.
They’re designed to sit comfortably within their surroundings, creating a space that feels like a considered part of the site rather than an afterthought.
We hope you enjoy your new workspace!
