Occupying one of the most prominent sites in the heart of Birmingham City, Lancaster Gate is a purpose built student accommodation development, providing 1,025 bedrooms and a dramatic new addition to the Birmingham skyline. TMPC worked alongside McAleer & Rushe to provide 5 external pods, located on the 10th floor terrace and ground floor courtyard. The pods were installed to offer students the option of flexible working, taking themselves outside of their rooms, and every day university study rooms. These outdoor pods were installed with a heating and cooling system, making them a contemporary option for all year round use.
