Industrial Details
Situated in the heart of Bessemer Park, this fit-out pays homage to the site’s industrial heritage while elevating it with a considered, high-end finish. The design draws inspiration from the area’s manufacturing past, introducing a striking lattice-work wall buttress to elegantly separate the kitchen from the meeting rooms. This industrial narrative flows seamlessly throughout, brought to life with bespoke, fabricated Crittall-style glazed partitions.
Crittall Effect
Rather than the commonplace aluminium, we opted for steel glazing frames—chosen for its inherent solidity and refined character. The box-section steel, drawn from tubular stock, naturally forms smooth radius corners, while recessed angle sections add visual depth to every edge. Pop rivets were deliberately left proud, lending an artisanal honesty to the craftsmanship. A deep, lustrous wet-paint finish allowed the subtle marks of welding to remain visible, celebrating the making process. This framework was completed with 10mm toughened glass, which catches and reflects the ambient glow of the high-bay lighting to dramatic effect.

Re Purpose
When tasked with repurposing cladding from within the showroom to create an additional room, we sourced complementary boards from a local reclamation yard, ensuring both sustainability and design integrity. Our specialist finishers stained and distressed the timber to perfectly harmonise with the original material, preserving its time-worn beauty. A discreet access panel, warm Tala feature lighting, and integrated OE Electrics Pixel sockets in the wall brought understated functionality, delivering a cost-effective yet refined solution that seamlessly transformed the space into a third, multi-purpose room.
Final Result
The result is a space where heritage meets precision—a fusion of raw industrial character and meticulous detailing. Every element, from the honest textures of reclaimed timber to the bespoke steel framing, was carefully curated to create an environment that feels both authentic and elevated. This project stands as a testament to the idea that true luxury lies not in excess, but in the thoughtful refinement of every material, finish, and form.
