Project Details
Birmingham Newman University transformed their outdoor space in 2025 with the addition of six of our outdoor pods in a variety of configurations, creating functional, stylish, and accessible outdoor working zones for students and staff.
The project, delivered in partnership with My Office Pod, included two 2-person part-enclosed pods, three 4-person open ring pods, and one 4-person fully enclosed pod. This blend of configurations allows for a variety of uses from quiet study and group collaboration to relaxed outdoor meetings.
As with all our outdoor models, these pods are designed with durability and sustainability in mind. Built using recycled composite fibreglass they are weather resistant, low-maintenance and made to last.
This installation offers a great example of how universities can maximise underused outdoor areas, creating welcoming and practical environments that enhance campus life.
