This 4-person outdoor Orb pod found a special home at Aboyne Academy in Aberdeenshire, marking the furthest north we’ve ever installed a pod in the UK.
Affectionately known as the ‘Tok Pod’, this project was made possible through the incredible fundraising efforts of local charity group The Paper Girls. The aim was to create a calming, private space for students to take time out, talk or simply reset. Supporting the school’s wider focus on mental health and wellbeing.
The Orb provides a safe and welcoming space for reflection. Built from recycled composite fibreglass, it’s durable, weatherproof, and ready for all seasons… even in the Scottish Highlands!
This meaningful installation is a fantastic example of how communities can come together to create real impact in educational settings.
